  • What are Hunter MP Rotator nozzles? These sprinkler nozzles are a more efficient way to water your plants, especially your turf, with overhead spray (sprinklers). They are an easy way to make your irrigation system more efficient without having to redesign or rebuild everything.

Why Hunter's MPR nozzles? Hunter is no longer the only company who produces a nozzle like this, but they pioneered the technology and by most accounts are the most well-made version on the market. The Hunter MPR nozzles are particularly adept at situations where debris gets in the line or spray head, high-pressure surge situations, and at generating a predictable, regulated watering pattern.

    Features

    • Matched precipitation at any arc or radius setting means you don't have to worry about separating different nozzles onto different valves if all of the plants have the same water needs.
    • Radius can be reduced up to 25% on all models. A flexible radius means you have maximum adjustability during installation and while your plants grow in.
    • Easy arc adjustment. Some nozzles are hard to adjust and you won't necessarily get water right where you want it. These nozzles are designed to make it easy to install exactly the way you want them.
    • Color-coded for easy identification
    • Double-pop feature keeps dirt and debris out of nozzle. This patented feature is unique to Hunter's MPR nozzles and is one of the reasons they're so great at handling debris.
    • Removable filter screen ensures hassle-free service. Just unscrew the nozzle and rinse or replace the filter. Good as new.
    • Avoid runoff with low precipitation rate. Low precipitation rate means the water is applied slowly, giving it more time to absorb into the soil rather than pooling on the surface and running down slopes.
    • Wind-resistant multi-stream technology. Wind, even as low as 2 to 3 mph, can account for 75% of run-off on spray heads. These nozzles create streams instead of sprays, so water isn't as easy to blow around.
    • High distribution uniformity. This is harder to measure, but you'll see it in your turf most obviously—as in obviously uniform.

Warranty Info All Hunter MPR nozzles carry a 2-year warranty.

  • The performance charts listed below are for reference. Important things to note is that while radius and angle are fully adjustable, system pressure directly impacts performance.

Hunter recommends 40 psi inlet pressure for all MP Rotator nozzles.
