Netafim Techline CV Fittings (Bag of 25)
Is 25 too many? We also sell smaller quantities of Netafim CV fittings.
What are Netafim Techline CV Fittings? Techline 17mm fittings are a line of connectors to help you connect drip tubing to PVC and other drip lines.
Why Netafim Techline CV Fittings? Netafim fittings are "barb" fittings, which once installed in your tubing, won't ever come back out. These fittings are economical and made especially for Netafim tubing, but might not be the best fittings for you.
Here is a comparison of Netafim barb fittings to Agrifim Smart-Loc fittings:
Netafim Barb Fittings | Smart-Loc Fittings |
---|---|
Are manufacturer-specific, especially for Netafim | Fits all 1/2" Drip Tubing |
One-time use; requires cutting the tubing to replace | Removable and reusable; doesn't damage the tubing |
Harder to install, many must use techniques to soften the tubing before installation | Easy on the hands |
What Netafim Fittings are available?
Coupling fittings are designed to connect two runs of drip tubing to each other, continuing in a straight line.
(Model # Netafim TLCOUP)
Tee fittings are designed to connect a run of drip tubing to two perpendicular runs.
(Model # Netafim T12TEE)
Elbow fittings are similar to tee fittings, but only go in one direction. These are best used for turning corners around buildings or pavement.
(Model # Netafim TLELL)
Cross fittings are similar to tee fittings, but go in all four directions. These are best used when areas are planted between pavers.
(Model # Netafim TLCROS)
Figure 8 Line End this is an economical and low-tech way to cap off the end of a dripline. It's not terribly attractive, but it makes flushing your dripline at installation and during routine maintenance easy.
(Model # Netafim TLFIG8)
Manual Flush Valve this is a slightly more expensive way ($3.75 vs $0.17) to handle the end of a drip line. To flush the system, you simply turn the handle on the valve. We recommend placing the valve inside a small valve box so it's easier to find during routine maintenance.
(Model # Netafim TLSOV)
Dripper Plug Ring If you've used self-piercing emitters and want to remove one, you'll want to plug the hole where the emitter was. This is your tool for that, just wrap it around the tubing and pop the insert into the hole.
(Model # Netafim TLDPLUG)
Male Pipe Thread Adapters in 1/2" and 3/4" is used to connect drip tubing directly to a water supply.
