What is the Rain Bird Pressure Regulating RBY Filter? A compact, preassembled unit that can be installed on the valve assembly to simultaneously manage pressure regulation and filtration (a must for drip irrigation). Why the Rain Bird inline pressure-regulating filter? This is a pressure regulator and static filter combo built for low-volume (drip) irrigation systems from the country's favorite irrigation manufacturer. It works with all valves, is simple to clean, and it's easy to replace the filter when necessary. This is a glass-filled filter, as opposed to a disc filter which is also commonly used in low-volume irrigation.
